Testimonials

  • Deciding which road to take after high school is a daunting process (been there) but I am not exaggerating when I say Mr. Lewis made that journey so much smoother for me. In light of his advising I got into my dream schools, was well prepped for next steps in my higher education, and left a more knowledgeable person. He helped me lay out my options, narrow down which of my strengths I wanted to hone in on, and gain more clarity about the application process. But other than his technical guidance, I just really enjoyed his general mentorship. I notice that Mr. Lewis’ advice was tailored to me and the way I grow, which put things in my own pace. I couldn’t have asked for a more versatile and understanding guide!

    Bella — Duke University

  • Mr. Lewis’ commitment to creating pieces that truly reflect my individual strengths are what helped me create a strong narrative for college applications. His counseling was consistently genuine and encouraged me to select the school where I truly belong. Mr. Lewis strongly emphasizes individuality and pushes students to make the best decisions for themselves. With his guidance, I am confident that every student will be able to make informative and thoughtful decisions on their next steps towards their future.

  • Sean Lewis was an incredible asset throughout my college application process. From helping me decide which classes to take to providing constant support and feedback, his guidance was invaluable. He also helped me strategize where to apply, ensuring I had a strong and balanced college list. Beyond that, he gave me thoughtful advice on how to highlight my accomplishments and experiences in a way that made my application stand out. Even before starting his own college consulting program, he went out of his way to help me, which speaks to his dedication and passion for mentoring students. As a sophomore at Yale University, I am grateful for the role he played in my journey!

    Lelah - Yale University

  • Mr. Lewis is first and foremost a kind and understanding college advisor. He approached the college process with the priority of learning about and supporting me in my aspirations while being incredibly honest in his constructive criticism. I worked with Mr. Lewis primarily on my college essays, where he helped me to focus on displaying my personal voice and story. Mr. Lewis knows how to work with students to display their best qualities in an application and be authentically themselves. I trusted his opinion on both the way my essays were written and what they were written about. Mr Lewis's feedback added to my confidence during the very uncertain time of college applications. His understanding of me as a person before just words on a paper made him a highly effective college advisor whom I could trust to be honest in his criticism and support.

    Claudia — Dartmouth College

  • Sean played a pivotal role in my application to college. His expertise helped me understand the confusing process of applying as a first-generation, low-income student. He also helped me find scholarships tailored to students like me, guiding me as I crafted applications for the resources I needed to succeed. Thanks to him, my path to higher education became clearer and the essays less daunting. I would highly recommend Sean to any student applying to college!

    Josh — MIT

  • Mr. Lewis played a significant role during my college application period. I received assistance in researching colleges. As a first generation student, my family and I did not have many resources, but he reviewed my list of colleges and offered suggestions, helping me figure out what qualities I wanted in a school. Mr. Lewis introduced me to my current school by referring me to Wellesley’s college access program. He also provided feedback for my Common Application essay draft, advising me on how to structure my essay and how I could make my point clearer.

    Eileen - Wellesley College

  • Sean was my rock during college applications season. I was quite ambitious when applying to schools, and had a long list to get through. I absolutely would not have been able to handle it all without Sean guiding me through: he was my voice of reason, and helped me make pragmatic decisions about how to be impactful when writing my essays and making admissions decisions.
